The piles penetrate the ground with press-in force and rotary force, which are generated from the tubular piles with cutting bits attached on the pile toes. Gyro-press method can insert piles through not only hard ground such as gravel and base rock layers but also placer layer, reinforced concrete foundation, and foundations with underground obstructions. Moreover, this is a method that allows to expand the scope of construction ground that pile-driving technology can apply. Using the rotary cutting press-in Gyro-Piler® machine, the tubular pile toe attached with cutting bit both rotates and cuts through obstructions while being compressed deep into the ground.
